We’re delighted to welcome two long-standing Antiques Warehouse traders, both highly respected former auctioneers and valuers, who will be joining us to offer free item valuations and guidance throughout the market. Whether you’re curious about your piece, seeking advice, or considering selling, their expertise will be invaluable.
Meet the Valuers
Clifford Horn
Formerly of Crescent Road Auctions in Luton, Clifford is widely recognised in the antiques world, even appearing as one of the early auctioneers on Bargain Hunt. His specialist field lies in jewellery, especially gold, but his knowledge spans a wide range of antiques and collectables. If you have something sparkling, old, intriguing or unusual, Clifford will be eager to take a look.
Laurence Seaton
Laurence previously ran the award-winning Buttercross Auctions in Whittlesey, earning recognition for both customer service and business excellence. His career has taken him to notable events, including auctions at The Cresset Theatre and Peterborough Cathedral, further cementing his reputation as a trusted and experienced valuer and auctioneer.
How It Works
Just bring your item along to the market or, if it’s too large or heavy, a clear photograph is perfectly acceptable for an initial assessment. Both Clifford and Laurence will be happy to offer a valuation on the day, plus professional advice on how best to sell should you wish to do so.
Home visits can also be arranged privately, with full confidentiality assured at all times.
