Dealers Nick and Tracey have stand H6 and cabinet 69. They have been trading at the Antiques Warehouse since July 2018 but prior to that Tracey and Nick organised antique fairs in Ely and attended a variety of fairs across East Anglia. Trading under the name Ely Vintage Emporium the couple also sell in their shop in Ely.
Tracey and Nick work hard sourcing new old items to put on sale, with Tracey being the main buyer and Nick being in charge of sales (otherwise Tracey would just be a hoarder!) they buy things that they like, that are fun and quirky. They love getting positive feedback about their items and the number of sales each week proves how popular their stand is.
Nick and Tracey love travelling across the country to find one off items, and have provided vintage and antique items for props for film and theatre as well as for wedding organisers and photographers.
Nick and Tracey have very different interests when it comes to vintage and antique with Nick’s main interest being in toys from the 1960’s and anything rusty! Tracey’s background in fashion and art have enabled her to have a wide knowledge of decorative arts and periods in history. Real favourites are anything from the early 1900’s but having said that she also likes items from the next six decades!! Both Nick and Tracey love to collect items that have a story and where possible will pass that on. Tracey and Nick welcome photo’s from happy customers of their items in situ or repurposed.
Both Nick and Tracey like to creatively display their items for maximum impact. They have a wide range of items at competitive and fair prices. Their stock changes on a weekly basis which they feel is the reason for their success at Setchey.
