Reid Fine Art sells high-quality ceramics, art glass, objets d’art, prints and paintings. Our ethos is simple: we only stock items that are attractive, well-made and interesting. We aim to select collectable and decorative pieces from the best of both established makers and specialist studios so that we always have items to appeal both to the dedicated collector and to the enthusiastic browser.

You can find Reid Fine Art in Cabinet 59, a lovely double cabinet with five shelves of tempting items ranging in price from £15 to £250. These will typically include Royal Crown Derby, Royal Doulton, Poole Pottery and other leading British makers such as Moorcroft and Denby, as well as examples of unique pieces from some of the country’s finest studio potters.

Glass is also always represented, with an emphasis on the products of 20th Century British and European art glass studios, from Czech Art Deco to Scandinavian modernism. All of our pieces are carefully checked for both condition and authenticity: we never knowingly offer damaged or reproduction goods.

Objets d’art is a delightfully broad category which covers a wide range of decorative antiques and collectables. For us it can mean elegant figurines, intriguing carvings, sculptural scent bottles or antique boxes. An item might come from any period and from anywhere in the world but the principle remains the same: if we love it, then we hope you will!

Reid Fine Art also shows prints and paintings in the ‘picture gallery’ in the main body of the Centre. The emphasis here is, again, on quality and authenticity with a particular focus on 20th Century landscape painting and printmaking. Our pictures will normally include examples of British etching, engravings and lithographs as well as original oils and watercolours.
